of Lilac Paseo, which Sapporo City opened in the JR Sapporo Station terminal.
It is widely renown as a place providing information covering city facilities,
transportation and administrative materials. It is also a place where local and

| Permanently on sale here, about 5000 different handmade items
created by physically and mentally handicapped people are displayed. There are
approximately 130 small-scale workshops run by welfare services where these items
are produced. Here we also introduce welfare amenities around the nation, hold
welfare group bazaars and endeavor to continue to promote understanding concerning
welfare and the handicapped. |
