| Featured in the "100 Selections of Old Sapporo Culture",
the former Oguma Residence was first built in Showa 2 in Sapporo at South 1 West
20. Originally the residence of Dr. Mamoru Oguma, a PhD of Agriculture from Hokkaido
Imperial University, it has become one of Sapporo's landmarks. In 1998 it was
relocated to the base of Mt. Moiwa and was fully restored. Now converted into
a coffee house, it has become a favorite of those who like to enjoy a quiet time
alone over coffee. |
